Justin Bieber Gives Back with Holiday Album

Written By USA Character Blog

USA Character Blog

Sometimes the true spirit of the holidays gets lost in the yuletide shuffle, so it's nice to hear that Justin Bieber, in a Character Approved move, will be giving some of the proceeds from his upcoming Under the Mistletoe holiday album to charity.

Organizations like Make-A-Wish and Pencils of Promise will benefit, but the teen idol says it is not yet determined how the proceeds will be divided or what percentage of album sales will go to the charities.

Bieber is adding some musical star power to his holiday album--not that he needs any--by collaborating with both Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men. When he announced the initiative this week he said that he wanted to team up with people like Carey because she has successfully released Christmas music already and she might help encourage a different audience to buy Bieber's holiday music.

Under the Mistletoe goes on sale on November 1. Let the holiday countdown begin!
