Celebrate Bill Cosby at the Paley Center

Whether as Cliff Huxtable or Fat Albert, Bill Cosby has played many memorable characters, won many awards for his skill as an entertainer, and broke several barriers along the way. Believe it or not, he came onto the comedy scene 50 years ago this year.

If you want to catch up on any of his work you may have missed, the Paley Center for Media is celebrating his five decades of work with screenings and a salute to this Hollywood legend.

The Character Approved celebration runs through March 4 and has programming offerings at both the New York City and Beverly Hills centers. The center will be showing not only some rarely viewed Cosby Show specials, but many of Cosby's variety show appearances as well.

Hey, hey, hey! Take a trip down memory lane at the Paley Center and enjoy the golden years of television with one its most famous faces.
