Is your check engine light on? Imagine using an app to diagnose the problem and locate a nearby service center--all without ever having to go to a mechanic.
A new product called the Mavia device is set to revolutionize how you get information about what might be wrong with your car. Designed to plug into cars manufactured after 1996, it works similarly to the diagnostic tools used by mechanics to read your car's internal error messages. Armed with detailed information, you can take back more control over how and where you choose to get your car serviced.
Created by Mavizon, the Mavia device (which corresponds to an account on the Mavizon website and a mobile app) will cost less than $300 and is expected to go on sale at local electronic retailers this year. Other than diagnosing car problems, this device and app also allow you to document car maintenance with trackers and reminders. More than just diagnostics, though, the Mavia device can solve a common problem you might have: helping you remember where you parked.
For leading the charge with technology that finally demystifies the experience when something goes wrong with your car, the Mavia device is Character Approved.
