Bringing the Sidewalk Cafe onto the Street, But Indoors

Cafe/Day is a clever take on designing a sidewalk cafe. It brings the sidewalk and entire street right inside!
Though Cafe/Day is indoors, all the furniture and flooring appear as if the project is not only on a sidewalk, but on the street itself. The cafe is literally paved with asphalt-like flooring with street markings like those found at a typical automobile intersection, while large sliding doors give it an outdoorsy vibe. For those of us in the automobile-centric United States, this is an idea whose time is come. Why not live in the street we spend so much of our time and money on?
Created by Suppose Design Office, Cafe/Day is Character Approved because it creates a cool, comfortable space out of a humorous idea.
