From Tablet to Table: iPad App Makes Online Ordering Even More Seamless

Okay, it's time to clean up your food ordering act. All those stained, outdated menus stuffed in that kitchen drawer--or dangling from the fridge, held up by a single overworked magnet? Toss them in the recycling. The Seamless iPad app is here. Launched just last month, the free app makes finding dinner easy and customizable. You can search by cuisine, delivery or pickup, location, price... You can even pay with the app, including the tip.

Started in 1999, Seamless is the largest mobile and online ordering service in the country, with 40 cities and more than 9,500 restaurants in its system. And the list keeps growing. What began as a strictly online service has embraced the mobile movement. Last year, more than a million orders were placed with iPhones, Androids, and BlackBerrys. With the addition of the Apple iPad app, that number is expected to triple this year.

Seamless makes the most of the tablet format. Navigating is simple, and the large screen lets you view restaurant menus, food pictures, and more. Ratings and reviews from Seamless users help you explore new restaurants with confidence. And if you just want one of your favorites, there's even an "I'll have the usual" option that displays your previous orders. This Character Approved app really does make ordering takeouts seamless. You can download the free app here.
