When you hear of a museum exhibit, you might think of old stuff on display, not relevant, hip, and youthful objects that belong to a Grammy winner and country music sensation.
Well, the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville is going young and happening for its upcoming exhibit. Taylor Swift: Speak Now--Treasures From The World Tour opens later this week.
On display: props, outfits, and set items from the 22-year-old star's latest tour. Why? For starters, more than one-third of the museum's visitors are 34 or under.
In addition to donating the items on display, Swift recently made the largest cash donation by any artist to the museum. Her $4 million gift will finance an education center there.
Curators there hope this exhibit will be one of many temporary summer runs. Speak Now coincides with the CMA Music Festival, which also kicks off this week. So country fans, if you're in the area, sing along while you enjoy this Character Approved exhibit.
