Matt Jordan began writing about music in 2004 when he founded the blog You Ain't No Picasso. Originally intended to chronicle his musical discoveries to a few close friends, the site quickly expanded into a readership of thousands of music fans all across the globe. As the sole contributor to YANP, Matt took up photography to liven up his concert reviews. He has since had photos published in Rolling Stone, Spin and Pitchfork.
Matt graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2008 with a Journalism degree. He currently lives in Lexington, KY where he writes daily on You Ain't No Picasso.
